Gibson SG Supra
Offered here is a 2013 Gibson SG Supra, a rare, short-lived high-end model that blends classic SG styling with premium appointments and unmatched tonal versatility. Built in the USA and produced for just one year, the SG Supra combines a AAA flamed maple top with a solid maple back, giving it a striking appearance and enhanced resonance compared to a traditional SG.
The rounded ’50s mahogany neck with a bound Richlite fingerboard offers smooth playability across 24 Plek-leveled frets, accented with elegant split-block mother-of-pearl inlays and a multi-ply bound headstock.
Equipped with three Gibson ’57 Classic humbuckers and a Fishman Power Bridge piezo system, the SG Supra delivers an incredible range of tones—from vintage PAF warmth to shimmering acoustic textures. Independent volume controls, a master tone, and the unique Tog-Pot switch allow seamless blending between magnetic and piezo pickups, with the option for stereo or mono output.
High-end hardware includes Grover locking Rotomatic tuners, a Tune-O-Matic/Power Bridge combo, and chrome appointments, ensuring rock-solid tuning and intonation.
This guitar is lightweight for its build, averaging just under 8 lbs, Translucent Black finish. With an original MSRP of over $5,000, the SG Supra has since become highly collectible.
